RETURNS

We guarantee our products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 7 days of receiving your order with a full refund, Return shipping charge is the responsibility of the buyer. If you wish to return an item, please contact us for instructions on the return. Cost of the purchase will be refunded to you by our company check. We do not process credits through credit card processors due to the extra fees charged us by the card companies. We process refunds immediately following receipt of the returned merchandise, provided merchandise is returned in its original and new condition.

WARRANTIES

All items, if any, are warranted directly by the maufacturer. No other type of warranty is offered by Rustic Country Cottage. Rustic Country Cottage is not responsible for abuse, mistreatment, or normal wear and tear of an item. Items with defects should be report to Rustic Country Cottage and a replacement or refund will be given.

SHIPPING

We normally process orders within 48 hours ( usually it is within 24 hours!) and ship by UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or with USPS Priority Mail . Actual shipping charges are calculated at the time of check-out and are based on the total weight of the package and the destination. Rustic Country Cottage charges a $1.00 per shipment handling and packaging fee to cover the cost of shipping materials. Actual delivery time will vary depending on the zone buyer lives in (normally 5-10 days from date of order for UPS Ground or FedEx Ground and 3-5 days for USPS Priority Mail).

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS AND BACKORDERS

Occassionally some of our items may be temporarily out of stock. We will contact customers within 48 hours of the order being placed notifiying them of the backorder and the expected delivery date. If the expected delivery date is not acceptable, we will work with you to find the best resolution (substitution or refund).

ORDERS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES

At this time, Rustic Country Cottage does not ship orders outside of the United States.

SALES TAX

Rustic Country Cottage does NOT charge sales tax for orders placed outside of Virginia. If you live in the state of Virginia you will be charged an additional 5% for sales tax on the total amount of the purchase.

CANCELLATIONS

Since our policy is to process and ship items within 48 hours, cancellaton of an order should be done within 24 hours of the order being placed. If cancellation occurs after an item is processed and shipped, customers will be billed for the shipping, handling and freight charges incurred.

Rustic Country Cottage accepts Mastercard and Visa Credit Cards. Sorry, but we do not accept personal checks at this time. You may, however, pay using a money order or cashier's check.
